Change database password page

Use this page to change the password held on the database that is used to access this database account. Click Apply to update all your connections that use this database account.

User Name

This read-only field displays the name of the database user for the current connection.

Database

This read only field displays the name of the database used for the current connection.

Current Password

Use this field to enter the current database password for the User Name and Database displayed above.

Note: Having entered a current password, you should enter valid values in the New Password and Verify New Password fields, before clicking Apply or Cancel

New Password

Use this field to enter a new database password for the name in the User Name field. The new password replaces the Current Password value in the database and is used to authenticate all connections that use this database user account.

Verify New Password

Use this field to re-enter the value of the new password for the name in the User Name field.

Note: This page is displayed for standard database connections only (i.e it is not displayed for Oracle Applications or OLAP connections).
